From its Erie, Pennsylvania headquarters, Eriez Magnetics oversees nine manufacturing subsidiaries around the world in major international markets.  The company, founded in 1942 by the Merwin family, is privately held and employs about 500 people.  Today, Eriez serves over 80 markets, including 20 major industrial classifications such as the food, chemical, metalworking, mining, automotive, power generation, pulp and paper, and pharmaceutical industries.

Eriez manufactures and markets a full line of Permanent and Electromagnetic Separators X-Ray Inspection Systems and Metal Detectors for the food industry.  Eriez' Vibratory Feeders and Conveyors, as well as Bin Vibrators, help keep products moving on the processing line.
